COVID 19 UPDATE
SERVICES FOR SUNDAY 2nd August:
9am - Gathered service of Holy Communion.
This peaceful and 'formal' service of worship lasts about 50 minutes, and includes bible readings, a short talk, and an opportunity to receive Communion; the traditional 'shared meal' with which Christians recall the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.
Noon - Worship Picnic
Our service pattern is a little different whilst we work through the Covid restrictions.
There are no services on a Wednesday - we'll look at re-starting these later in September (possibly the 23rd).
Our 9am is "gathered" every week, and aside from the distanced chairs and no singing, is broadly similar to our pre-Covid 9am. The 9am is also streamed live via Facebook Live, YouTube and this website.
The 10.30am service has been replaced during Covid with an online service.
We've also varied the pattern a little to fit in a few gathered "Worship picnics", starting at Noon,
during the better summer weather.
(A simple act of worship, bring your own chair/rug, a drink and a sandwich; we sit suitably spaced in the church garden. If the weather is too wet, we'll post a cancellation notice on Facebook by 11.15 on the Sunday morning.)
Our aim is to re-start and re-set our 10.30 service from Sunday 20th September -
we'll announce more nearer the time.
