FIND OUT MORE ABOUT WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOUR YOUNG PERSON
On the 2nd Sunday of every month we offer a relaxed Cafe-style All Age service, with filter coffee, tea and snacks served in the church before, during and after the service.
Every other week during our 10:30am Sunday service we have our Young Church groups which meet in our halls. They are very fluid and informal. Parents can stay with their children if they wish and we have a lovely team of volunteers, who have the necessary safeguarding checks in line with Diocesan policies.

PENNY CARRIER - LEADER OF CHILDREN, FAMILIES
AND YOUTH MINISTRY
Penny retired from her job at BT, where she had worked for 39 years, doing a variety of roles ranging from a call centre team manager to a digital media learning and development specialist. In search of something new, she applied for the St Paul’s role – at the church where she has worshipped for over 10 years.
“During this time, I’ve been involved in Young Church and in setting up and leading a worship band,” she explained. I’m passionate about young people and excited about continuing the ministry among children, families and youth, both at St Pauls and in our local community.’’
"We have a vibrant and lively young church community with a team of leaders who are dedicated to being alongside our young people. To help them grow together in their faith and have fun.
Infinity, our youth group meet once a fortnight on a Saturday night from 7pm to 9pm. We eat together, play games and have some creative and fun Bible teaching. We raise money for charity with sponsored sleepovers and bake offs and we recently had a trip to see the Knife Angel.
We’ve just started a Youth Band which is very exciting and we’re always looking for musicians who would like to join us.
We would love your young people to come along. Please get in touch by phone or email."
You can also look out for Penny at St Paul’s, Toddlers, Young Church, all-age services, special events and in the local schools where she has already taken part in Harvest Assemblies where, it is rumoured, she was disguised as a carrot!
ST PAUL'S TODDLERS
Meet on a Wednesday morning during term time from 10:15 am to 11:30 am. We seek to provide a secure and welcoming place for parents/carers and their children to meet and play, find friendship and support. We usually provide a craft table, play dough, puzzles, construction, small world play, a home corner and dressing up. There is also a soft mat area with toys suitable for babies and young toddlers. Refreshments are provided by our Church team at around 10.30am.
